Soterios A. Theori, MBA, CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, CLTC, RICP

Soterios Theori is a Greek Cypriot. He was raised on the Island of Cyprus and graduated from the Economic Lycium of Nicosia.

After graduation, Soterios served in the Greek Army for 26 months and was responsible for military vehicle maintenance. Upon completion of his military service, Soterios went to work in the United Arab Emirates for 2 1/2 years as an accounting clerk.

His life-long dream was to save enough money to be able to come to the United States of America to further his studies. In 1981 he realized his dream and came to the US on a student visa, attended Queens College and received his BA in Accounting and Finance. He then went to work as an accountant for a real estate firm while pursuing his MBA in Accounting and Taxation from St. Johns University. After graduating from St. Johns and passing his CPA examination, Soterios opened his own accounting firm focusing on serving the Greek community.

In 1994, Soterios entered the Financial Services Industry where he has excelled ever since.

Soterios, an agent for New York Life Insurance Company, has qualified as a Lifetime Member of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT*). The Million Dollar Round Table is the most prestigous production-based national and international organization in the Financial Services Industry. To become a member requires achievement, ability, and excellent service. Those who qualify and join MDRT, rank in the top of all life insurance agents in the world.

Soterios has earned his CLU, ChFC, LUTCF, CLTC, and RICP designations from the American College.
